Glucosamine is an amino sugar that the body makes naturally. In supplements it is most often made from shellfish shells.

The glucosamine in this product is glucosamine hydrochloride from a vegan source, so the product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Two capsules provide 1,000 mg.

The Other Ingredients

• Rosehip extract (Rosa moschata hip, 20:1): 200 mg. A 20:1 extract is concentrated from around 4 g of rosehip.
• Rutin: 100 mg. A flavonoid found naturally in foods such as buckwheat, apples and citrus fruit.
• Quercetin: 50 mg. A flavonoid found naturally in foods such as onions, apples and berries.
• Grape seed extract (Vitaflavan, Vitis vinifera seed): 20 mg.
• Green tea extract (4:1): 20 mg.
